Eligibility

Candidates must have passed +2 examination with at-least 60 %marks in aggregate, should have studied in regular full time formal education in their school/collage. To gain admission the candidates should have UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design), NID DAT (National Institute of Design-Design Aptitude Test), NIFT Entrance Exam, or KIITEE (KIIT Entrance Examination). Aspirants should be below 21 years of age for Bachelor in Design Admission.

SPECIALISED COURSE IN FASHION DESIGN

2nd year : Basic courses like Fabric Studies, History of Clothing in India, Pattern Making, Draping, Garment Construction, Integrated Fashion Project, Fashion Illustration. History of Fashion, Integrated fashion Project

3rd year : Apparel Production Planning & Control, Graphics Design, Surface Ornamentation Technique, Integrated fashion Project Responsible Fashion, Grading, Knitwear Design Development, Integrated Fashion Project.

4th year : Styling , Men’s wear Development , Couture wear, Portfolio development and Graduate Fashion Design Project Industrial Internship

SPECIALISED COURSE IN TEXTILE DESIGN

2nd year : Basic courses like Textile Testing and Analysis, Woven Design Print Design, Textile and Garment Testing Lab, Design Development (Prints) Integrated Textile Project, Illustration of Home Textile, Textile Dyeing and Printing, Integrated Textile Project. Textile Finishing,

3rd year : Textile Finishing, CAD Ned Graphics, Woven design, Print Design, Integrated Textile Project, Illustration of Home Textile, Surface Ornamentation Technique (Printing), Integrated Textile Project. Sustainable Textiles

4th year : CAD Ned Graphics( Dobby & Jacquard ), Smart and Functional Textile Project, Portfolio development , Industrial Internship and Graduate Textile Design Project
